North Grove

For this project we converted an existing unused garage into a very large and glamorous utility room, created a new guest toilet, and opened up the entrance hallway to create additional storage and better circulation space. The brief was to keep everything modern, clean-lined and simple. We kept the colour scheme light and serene, but introduced reclaimed brick and darker greys to add contrast. We also incorporated glass and additional lighting and worked hard to conceal functional elements. The challenges of the space led us to incorporate new technologies, such as microcrete skimmed flooring, a Tesla power wall and thermomesh underfloor heating.
