Stonor Road

This classic Victorian terrace house was typically narrow and dark, and the various spaces lacked purpose. Our clients had differing tastes but were united in desiring light, clean and serene spaces with a high level of functionality and plenty of storage. We designed and built beautiful bespoke joinery for every room to meet this need. They also asked to be challenged with the introduction of gentle colour and contrast, and sought a calming master bedroom retreat. Our clients had some wonderful existing art and furniture pieces which we incorporated into the design, also allowing space for their collection of art and objet to evolve. The result is a beautifully calm and light space, which now functions brilliantly as both a family home and sociable entertaining domain.
